Networked gestures - a collaborative exhibition project in the design lighting warehouse

Between the cathedral and the stadium, not far from the beautiful "Melaten", the heart of the Less'n'more lighting manufactory beats in the halls of a former cardboard factory. How funny, unusual and unique: thanks to a rechargeable battery and an oak wood body, the Bookowski lamp by designer Kai Steffens not only brings any book or magazine to any place, no matter how unusual, but also a good bottle thanks to a shelf with a glass holder made of stainless steel (approx. 995 euros). The name is more than well chosen: The late author Henry Charles Bukowski liked to drink a good drop - even if he often drank too much.

The New Apostolic Church on Rosenberg, built by the architect Heinrich Graf in 1957/1958, was acquired by Bettina and Markus Würth in order to build a place of learning that meets the most modern educational requirements. The space was reorganised and expanded to meet the needs of the New City School.

The design company less'n'more produced luminaires for machine lighting until it discovered the sales potential of its products with private customers. But their bank refused to provide start-up financing. The financial requirements were simply too low for the internationally active group. The fact that the Pulheim-based company is now well positioned in the market is thanks to the foresight of a regional financial partner.

The design company less'n'more produced luminaires for machine lighting until it discovered the sales potential of its products with private customers. But their bank refused to provide start-up financing. The financial requirements were simply too low for the internationally active group. The fact that the Pulheim-based company is now well positioned in the market is thanks to the foresight of a regional financial partner.
