less'n'more: The LED luminaire manufactory
The combination of traditional manufactory thinking with the latest technology can be experienced at the luminaire manufactory less'n'more. In the historic rolling mill in Pulheim near Cologne, a small team around the designer duo Kai Steffens and Christian Dinow develops and manufactures high-quality LED luminaires. They develop, design and package - all this in a creative atmosphere with lots of light,
brick, wood and glass. At less'n'more, the name says it all, because here they work and live by the philosophy "less is more". This begins consistently with the products and their production and
continues through the packaging concept to disposal. The few individual parts of the luminaires are preferably sourced from suppliers in the region. Everything is assembled individually and carefully
by hand in Pulheim. All less'n'more luminaires can be completely dismantled and recycled. The "athene" lamp collection, which has been supplemented by the new materials wood and
porcelain, is entirely in the spirit of sustainable design.
