With meticulous care and commitment, the less’n’more lamp company, founded in 2002, creates LED lighting objects and systems. The managing directors Kai Steffens and Christian Dinow have already been rewarded with a red dot award (2010) and a nomination for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, among others. The name of the less’n’more company speaks for itself: The products are considered holistically and reduced to the essential. Take the “Ylux” lamp, for example. The patented head is made of solid aluminium and dissipates heat in an optimal way. The focusing system is patented as well. It can be adjusted to any position from 300 to 100 degrees. All of the company’s products are handmade in Pulheim near Cologne.
